About The Quiet Skein

The Quiet Skein was born from a love of colour, nature and the quiet comfort of creativity.

I am a lifelong knitter, first taught by my grandmas in childhood. Some of my earliest memories are of sitting beside them, watching wool transform into something warm, useful and beautiful. Those moments planted a deep appreciation for craft, patience and the stories woven into handmade things.

As life became busier and my career more demanding, knitting became more than a hobby — it became a refuge. In the midst of a fast-paced, high-pressure working life, the rhythm of needles and the softness of yarn offered calm, focus and a sense of grounding. It was a reminder that slowing down is not a luxury, but a necessity.

The Quiet Skein is built on that belief.
